The AlcoHawk ABI (Alcohol Breath Indicator) with Sensor Recognition (SR) is a popular consumer-oriented breathalyzer, which uses a highly-selective semiconductor sensor to provide reliable accuracy from 0.00 to .40% BAC. The three digit LED displays the exact BAC value, not just a range.
The AlcoHawk is lightweight and very portable - it's slightly bigger than a deck of cards. Its sleek design and portability make it a great choice for bars, parties, and social functions. In addition to its appealing design and ease of use, this model is also very accurate. The AlcoHawk Breathalyzer is actually used by some law enforcement organizations as an initial screening device.

What is the difference between the AlcoMate Prestige and AlcoHawk ABI model?
The AlcoMate Prestige and AlcoHawk ABI are very similar devices except two key differences. The AlcoMate Prestige has the ability to change the sensor yourself, while the Pro must be sent in for calibration. The Prestige also has an updated sensor and software to provide a more accurate test result.
How many tests can I perform with the AlcoHawk ABI before I have to calibrate the device
Under ideal testing conditions, the AlcoHawk ABI
should perform roughly 200 tests before needing a breathalyzer calibration service. Continuous testing with higher amounts of alcohol may potentially wear out the sensor faster.
