I spent a lot of time researching all the different breathalyzers online and purchased the AL7000 for a few reasons.
1. A replaceable sensor is a great idea and the only breathalyzer that openly talked about calibrations. Every other breathalyzer I found hid the fact that they would need to be sent back within 6 months.
2. One button to work the machine meant it is really easy to use. Having to fiddle with an iphone app to get a quick reading seemed like a huge hassle.
3. Hard to find bad reviews for the premium model. Results appear accurate and consistent.
We had a small keychain breathalyzer that got stuck at .15 after the 3rd test. I'm much happier so far with the Alcomate Premium.
