The Axis is a fantastic geologic measurement tool and a huge step up from all other transits! I bought it based on its two axis design and have not been disappointed. Its design is radically different from my old Brunton and, I must say, long overdue! Much easier to use in the field as ALL measurements are quicker and just as precise as ever. Thanks Brunton for the innovation!!
