Really nice compass. I lost my Brunton 8099 which I had for years, so I figured it was a good time to call up the same place I bought it from and they let me know Brunton has released a new version called the TruArc20. Arrived quickly and you can immediately feel this thing is serious. It's much heavier than my old 8099. The housing of this thing is much better than most of the competitors and keeps the unit protected at all times. Lanyard was a little tricky to put on but not a big deal. It's great to see these compasses are made in USA again as most manufacturers are moving to China.
