I had another device similar to this but it was ABS plastic and had blind spots. I couldn't get the lens aligned properly. This device is an all metal body which is great for a front door and the picture didn't have any distortion like the other product. Installation was easy because I already had the hole in the door, but so far I'm much happier with the DS238.
