Purchased three Redfuel SL1 jump packs 2 years ago. Removed from vehicles (5Nov2019) to recharge before winter weather sets in (Middle Georgia) and two packs had swollen batteries that separated the plastic cases. One had never been used and one had around 5 jumpstarts on it. Customer service said their jumpstarters should not be stored in vehicles during hot weather because it would cause the batteries to swell. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a portable self contained vehicle jumpstarter. Product worked great when used, just keep in a cool environment and hopefully they will last.
